The World's First Real Smartphone with 8-Core Processor

In China, the presentation of the world's first "Real" Smartphone with 8-core processor - that is, one where all the computing cores can run at the same time (recall that in the family chips Samsung Exynos 5 Octa they operate only in groups of 4 pieces).

It is a model UMI X2S, presented during the exhibition Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition). This is said to be the first Octa-Core (Eight Core) Processor Smartphone.

The model is based on the platform of MediaTek MT6592 , including eight 1.5-gigahertz processor cores with the architecture of ARM Cortex-A7. Official information about the built-in graphics accelerator chipset this yet, but most likely, it is used Mali-450.

As for the other characteristics of UMI X2S, the machine is equipped with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, NFC module and a 13-megapixel camera production of Sony. It may well be that the new network also supports LTE.
