Rating of the World’s top CEOs


Founder and CEO of the social network Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg topped the rating of the top 50 CEOs in 2013, compiled by the site  Glassdoor.com  based on reviews of past and present employees.

Zuckerberg’s approval rating from employees was 99% – 14 points higher than last year. In comments on the Glassdoor employees Zuckerberg Facebook Celebrates new ideas and a high level of confidence in the team.

Second place in the software company’s executives took SAP Bill McDermott and Jim Snabe Heygmann. In third place – the head of research firm McKinsey & Company Dominic Barton.

The top five also were Ernst & Young CEO Jim Tarle and finance company Northwestern Mutual John Shlifske.

Last year’s leader – Apple CEO Tim Cook – in the ranking in 2013 took only 18 line.

All in the top 50 executives included 20 CEOs of technology companies, including the head Qualcoom Paul Jacobs (eighth place), the head of Google, Larry Page (11), Marc Benioff of Salesforce (13) and Jeff Bezos of Amazon (16). Remained in the rankings, Larry Ellison of Oracle (46th place) and head of Dell, Michael Dell (49). At the same time, women-CEO IT-companies in the Glassdoor rating were not included.

Glassdoor included top managers who have at least a hundred evaluations of employees over the past year. According to Glassdoor, over 500 thousand employees rated their CEOs in the past 12 months, and the average rating of the head of the company was 68%.
