Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Review: GTX 1080 Faster than Titan X

NVIDIA Corporation is the American technology-based company. The headquarters of the company is located in Santa Clara, California. Nvidia designed products that are mainly targeting the gaming and automotive markets.

For gaming sector, Nvidia offers GPU’s (General processing units) as well as System on a Chip(SOC’S)  for automotive markets and mobile computing purposes. “GeForce” the consumer-oriented graphic processing product is the primary   GPU product that  Nvidia offers.

There exist a direct completion of Geforce with “Advance Micro Devices”(AMD). Nvidia broadens their existence in gaming sector by introducing the portable handheld Shield, and Shield Android TV’s.  Now Nvidia operating as a platform company, actually targeting the four major segments of the market, Gaming, Professional Visualization, Data centers and Audio.

Nvidia goes one step forward in GPU manufacturing. Nvidia is providing the parallel computing facility to the researchers and scientist, to  provide them an easy way to perform various tasks at the same time by using just simple application. Parallel processing also provides them a convenient way to run high-performance applications smoothly.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080.

Nvidia’s new chief GeForce GTX 1080 is the next generation graphic card that could be served as the most exceptional gaming graphic card that ever created. It placed on company’s new Pascal architecture, a technology that provides extraordinary performance, power proficiency, and up to 3X more ultimate gaming experience in the virtual world. The new GTX 1080 is more precisely designed, to provide superior heat blow out by using vapor chamber or fan cooling technology, so it runs as cool as it looks.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 review:

GTX 1080 Faster than Titan X.

Nvidia’s 2016 GeForce cards all are powered by newest Pascal technology that supersedes Maxwell, which was behind the GTX 9xx series and TitanX. Pascal architecture is built in such a way that it could be served as the engine of the computers that can learn, see, and simulate our world. Nvidia Claims that its Pascal technology is up to 3 times more efficient than previous generation technologies., just because by making improvements in computing and manufacturing and designing process.  The twice in the performance comes from the combination of new GPU architecture(Pascal).

The GTX 1080 uses faster Micron  GDDR5X in an intense memory pipe of 10gbs. The GeForce 1080 is highly efficient in its performance and faster than Geforce GTX TitanX. The GTX 1080 is built on the latest technology that provides the sharpest graphics and efficient gaming experience to game lovers. Regarding clock speed, the Nvidia's GTX 1080 sit at 1607 Mhz clock speed, but it can be overclocked to 1733 Mhz for the superior gaming experience.

The GPU of GTX 1080 consumes only 15 watts more power than GTX980 and operates effectively at lower maximum temperature. The GeForce GTX 1080 is proficient in memory. Nvidia uses latest memory technology that replaced GDDR5 with GDDR5X, which allows GeForce GTX 1080’s 8gb’s memory with an increased bandwidth up from 7Gbps to 10Gbps to perform harder tasks. The super fast and high bandwidth memory features ensure that performance would not be choked by memory related errors in most demanding games.

Nvidia’s Geforce GTX 1080 More Powerful than Titan X:

Nvidia claims that there GeForce GTX 1080 graphic card will be two times faster and cheaper as compared to Titan X. GTX 1080 is three times more power efficient and consumes less power than Titan X when Performing VR Workloads. The GTX 1080 will be available in two types of versions; standard and founder edition’s card with MSRP $599 and $699 respectively. The GTX 1080 is the first kind of gaming graphic card that would be available on May 27th.

Both the standard and founder version are better than Titan X regarding VR workloads. Nvidia’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang shared stats of how fast GTX 1080 is by showing a demo of Epic’s Paragon. The GPU was running at 2.1 GHz, and the memory was running at 5.5 GHz. This clears that GTX 1080 is the fastest GPU available in the market right now. It is even faster than Titan X which is selling at $1000 and 1080’s price is only $600. So, if you are a game lover, go for GTX 1080 instead of Titan X.
