Lenovo has brought to the exhibition CES 2014 in Las Vegas (USA) a new convertible tablet Miix 2 on a hardware platform Intel.
Junior model, Miix 2 10, equipped with a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a 4-core Atom Z3740 processor with a clock speed of 1.86 GHz. More powerful tablet Miix 2 11 has a 11.6-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a Core i5 processor generation Haswell. RAM up to 8 GB storage capacity - 256 GB of expandable with microSD-card. Dimensions - 302x190x11 mm, weight - about 800 g
Both computers are on board camera with 2 - and 5-megapixel sensor, stereo speakers JBL, wireless adapters Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, as well as an optional module 3G. Claimed battery life on one charge the battery up to 8 hours. Operating System - Windows 8.1.
Tablets will be offered docking station with a keyboard, a set of ports and a subwoofer. And the tablet can be set to display either the keyboard or the back of the mode for use in presentations.
Sale of Miix 2 10 and Miix 2 11 will begin in the spring as low as $500 and $700 respectively.
