Adobe Flash Player Update for IE 10 & 11 on Win 8 and 8.1

Following the security updates Microsoft, walked out on Tuesday, December 10, patches for its products the company also released Adobe. Since Microsoft announced that it would be self-releasing updates for Flash Player in its latest operating systems, on December 11 users Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 got a new version of the player through Windows Update.

“This patch fixes a vulnerability of Adobe Flash Player, updating affected executable files in Internet Explorer 10 and Internet Explorer 11” – said Microsoft.

Microsoft Security Bulletin MS13-097 – Critical

This security update is rated Critical for Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10 and Internet Explorer 11 on Windows clients and Important for Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10, and Internet Explorer 11 on Windows servers. On December 10 Microsoft Internet Browsers known as Internet Explorer 10 and 11 on supported editions of Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2 also received an update, so users should ensure that they have access to all the fixes to ensure the security of their system. As a precautionary measure, users of older versions of the browser must install an update for Flash Player manually.
